How many times are you going to continue to clock in to that very same job that you absolutely hate?
When are you going to stop stressing yourself about if your next on the list to get FIRED?
Why are you so afraid to take that step and just be your own BOSS?
I know I know. Trust me when I say that I’ve been there before with my miserable days as an employee. I’ve been hired, and I’ve been fired. I was hired again, and I quit. I could no longer see my dreams as a Writer go down the drain anymore. I hated the feeling of working for someone and seeing their dreams come true. All I could think about was….What about me?
Like many other women I know have been so stressed out about their employer. I mean I could write different stories for days, but what’s important is to know that so many of us are afraid to Quit. It’s not the easiest thing to let go of something that has taken care of you financially. That’s the main reason why so many people put up with the whole 9 to 5 thing. But, how much are you going to take? The Boss who constantly critizes everything you do and let’s not forget he/she also thinks they can talk to you any kind of way. Or remember the time you wanted to request off a certain day and didn’t get APPROVED by the boss? Should I continue to take you down memory “I really hate being an Employee” lane?
It comes to a point when you will eventually get sick of this or just get fired. I wasn’t going to continue to let this happen to me and neither should you. I know stepping out on faith to start your own business is probably going to be one of the biggest step you will make In life, but it’s time. It’s time to stop wasting your life away in misery working for someone else. It’s time to believe that you can be successful in life. And more importantly for you to call your own shots.
Working for myself was more than just quitting because I hated working for someone. It meant that I could live out my own dreams and complete my own goals in life. It also meant that I could encourage other women to also pursue being their own boss. There’s nothing more inspiring to hear someone say, “Because of you I did it! I quit to start my own business.”
